Structure 1: Active bridge type CMM

It consists of a connecting rod (Z axis) mounted on a bracket that moves vertically, a bracket (X axis) that moves horizontally on a bridge structure supported by a base, and a bridge structure (Y axis) that moves horizontally on the base. The workpiece is mounted on the base.

This structure is adopted by most models of Mitutoyo's CMM, and achieves high precision and fast acceleration. From small to large models.

Structure 2: Fixed bridge CMM

This structure is adopted by Mitutoyo's MACH-3A series of CNC coordinate measuring machines capable of on-line measurement, and realizes high-speed drive, space saving, and durability in use for line side and on-line measurement.

Structure 3: Gantry type CMM

It consists of a connecting rod (Z axis) mounted on a bracket that moves vertically, a bracket (X axis) that moves horizontally on a bridge structure supported by a base, and a bridge structure (Y axis) that moves horizontally on the base. This structure is adopted by Mitutoyo's large-scale two-separation guide CNC CMM, and it is the original structure of Mitutoyo's basic installation type. It can measure large and heavy objects with high precision and has a corresponding measurement range.

The working principle of the three-coordinate measuring instrument

Simply put, the CMM has a guiding mechanism, a length measuring element, a digital display device in three mutually perpendicular directions, and a workbench that can place the workpiece (large and giant are not necessarily), and the probe can be A measuring device that moves to the measured point briskly manually or motorized, and displays the coordinate value of the measured point by a reading device and a digital display device. Obviously this is the simplest and most primitive measuring machine.

With this measuring machine, the coordinate value of any point in the measuring volume can be displayed by the reading device and the digital display device. The point-collecting and signaling device of the measuring machine is a measuring head, which is equipped with a grating ruler and a reading head along the three axes of X, Y, and Z. The measurement process is that when the probe touches the workpiece and sends out a point signal, the control system collects the coordinate values of the three-axis coordinates of the current machine tool relative to the origin of the machine tool, and then the computer system processes the data.

Boot steps of cmm machine

1. Check if there are any obstacles hindering the movement of the machine.

2. Turn on the main power supply:

3. Open the air pressure (open the working pressure first, then open the total air pressure; check the barometer indication of the measuring machine, it is greater than 0.5Mpa);

4. Turn on the power supply of the control cabinet (rotate clockwise and release the emergency stop button on the control cabinet);

5. Turn on the computer and double-click the desktop measurement software. A dialog box of "machine zero return" will pop up;

6. Turn on the emergency stop switch on the machine and the communicator; add enable to x, y, and z, and click the machine to return to zero.

7. After the zero return is successful, the operation can be started.

Shutdown steps of CMM

1. Turn the angle A of the probe base to 90 degrees. (eg A90B0 angle)

Move the three axes of the measuring machine to the upper left (close to the zero return position).

Exit the measurement software operation interface.

Press the emergency stop button on the operation box and control cabinet.

Turn off the computer.

Close the control cabinet

Turn off the air source (turn off the total air pressure first, then turn off the working air pressure)

Turn off the main power.
