Roundness measuring instrument is a measuring tool for measuring the roundness error of workpieces by using the rotary axis method. The roundness tester is divided into two types: sensor rotary type and workbench rotary type. During measurement, the measured part and the precision shaft system are installed concentrically, and the precision shaft system is equipped with an inductive length sensor or a workbench for precise circular motion. The roundness tester consists of the sensor, amplifier, filter and output device of the instrument. If the instrument is equipped with a computer, the computer is also included in this system.

Roundness Measuring Machine Basic introduction

Roundness tester is a kind of precision instrument to measure the out of roundness of rotary surface (shaft, hole or spherical surface) of parts. There are usually two types: small desktop, where the workpiece is mounted on a rotary workbench and the measuring head is mounted on a fixed column; Large floor type, the workpiece is mounted on a fixed workbench, and the measuring head is mounted on the rotating spindle. When measuring, the measuring head contacts the workpiece surface, and the rotating part (workbench or spindle) of the instrument rotates for one circle. Because the precision of the support bearing of the rotary part is extremely high, the measuring head will produce a high-precision circular track on the measured surface during rotation. The out of roundness of the measured surface causes the measuring head to shift, which is converted into an electrical (or pneumatic) signal. After amplification, it can be automatically recorded on a circular recording paper, and the out of roundness of each part can be directly read out for the purpose of evaluating accuracy and process analysis. It is widely used in precision bearing, machine tool and instrument manufacturing industry.

Roundness Measuring Machine working principle

The roundness tester adopts the radius measurement method and the working rotary type. The rotary shaft system of the roundness tester uses a high-precision air floating spindle as the measuring datum; The electrical part of the roundness tester is composed of advanced computer, precision circular grating sensor and precision inductive displacement sensor. The circular grating sensor and precision inductive displacement sensor measure the angle and radial displacement to ensure the accuracy of measuring the angular displacement and radial value of the workpiece; The roundness measuring software based on Chinese WinXP operating system platform is used for roundness measuring software to complete data acquisition, processing and measurement data management.

Roundness Measuring Machine Basic type

There are basically two forms of roundness tester. (1) Rotary table type: the workpiece rotates while the detector is fixed; (2) Measuring shaft rotation type: the workpiece is fixed while the detector rotates. One of the keys of the roundness tester is that the rotary spindle has very high manufacturing accuracy and assembly accuracy.

Roundness Measuring Machine Precautions

1. Clean the marble workbench and column marble with alcohol (absolute ethanol, 99.97%) every day after startup. Note: Do not wipe the shell of the drive box with alcohol, because some surfaces of the shell are sprayed with paint, which is prone to chemical reaction, and it is easy to affect the appearance after wiping with alcohol.

2. Pay attention to the rust prevention of the T-groove of the marble workbench, the screw rod of the column and the column guide rail (the metal part behind the column). Pay attention to the regular application of antirust oil, especially during long holidays. Specific method: spray WD40 on the above places, and after five minutes, wipe the excess WD40 with dust-free paper.

3. When not in use, remove the probe Stylus and place it in a special probe box.

4. It is necessary to regularly check the voltage of the power supply, and ask the user's equipment maintenance professionals to cooperate. Specific methods: check whether the voltage value is between 110~~240V, whether the voltage fluctuation is within the allowable range, and whether the phase sequence and voltage of L-live wire, N-zero wire, E-connected wire are correct.

5. Whether the external power supply is equipped with UPS protection device (must be installed) to prevent the damage of the circuit board, computer and electronic components in the control box caused by the peak voltage caused by power transmission and sudden power failure.

6. Whether the ambient temperature and humidity of the instrument are within the allowable range. Operating environment temperature range: 15-30 ℃, allowable range of temperature gradient change: less than 2 ℃ (general environmental requirements, such as processing site); Range of operating ambient temperature: 18-22 ℃, allowable range of temperature gradient change: less than 2 ℃ (standard metering room); Humidity requirement: 45% - 75%.
