CMM inspection equipment main structural components

2. The guide rail is an important part of the measuring machine to realize three-dimensional movement. CMMs mostly use sliding guides, rolling bearing guides and air-floating guides, and air-floating static pressure guides are the main form. The air-floating guide rail is composed of a guide rail body and an air cushion, and some guide rail bodies and a workbench are combined into one. The air flotation rail should also include a set of gas devices such as air source, voltage stabilizer, filter, air pipe, and diverter.

3. The ruler system is an important part of the measuring machine and an important link in determining the accuracy of the instrument. The scales used in the coordinate measuring machine have a linear ruler, a precision screw, an induction synchronizer, a grating ruler, a magnetic ruler and a wavelength of light waves. The system shall also include digital display electrical devices.

4. The driving device is an important motion mechanism of the measuring machine, which can realize the functions of motorized and program-controlled servo motion. The driving devices generally used on the measuring machine include screw nut, rolling wheel, steel wire, toothed belt, rack and pinion, optical axis rolling wheel, etc., and are driven by servo motors. 5. Turntable and accessories. The turntable is an important component of the measuring machine. It adds a degree of freedom of rotational movement to the measuring machine, which is convenient for the measurement of certain types of parts. Turntables include indexing tables, single-axis turntables, universal turntables (two-axis or three-axis) and CNC turntables. There are many accessories for coordinate measuring machines, depending on the needs. It generally refers to a reference ruler, a square ruler, a step gauge, a standard sphere (or cube), a micrometer, and a precision inspection template for self-inspection, etc.

6. Balance parts, mainly used in Z-axis frame structure. Its function is to balance the weight of the Z-axis, so that the Z-axis moves up and down without bias interference, so that the Z-direction force measurement is stable during detection. If the probe installed on the Z axis is replaced, the size of the balance force should be re-adjusted to achieve a new balance. Z-axis balancing devices are available in the types of weights, springs or springs, cylinder piston rods, etc.

CMM machine electrical system components

1. The electrical control system is the electrical control part of the measuring machine. It has single-axis and multi-axis linkage control, peripheral equipment control, communication control and protection and logic control.

2. For the computer hardware part, the CMM can use various computers, generally PCs and workstations.

3. Printing and drawing device, this device can print out data and tables according to measurement requirements, and can also draw graphics, which is an output device for measurement results.

4. Measuring machine software, including control software and data processing software. These software can perform coordinate exchange and probe calibration, generate probing patterns and measurement paths, and can be used for the measurement of basic geometric elements and their interrelationships, shape and position error measurement, gear, thread and cam measurement, curve and surface measurement, etc. . It has the functions of statistical analysis, error compensation and network communication.

The 3D probe is a sensor for 3D measurement. It can sense the aiming signal and small displacement in three directions to realize the two functions of aiming and micrometering. The measuring probes mainly include hard probes, electrical probes, optical probes, etc. In addition, there are accessories such as probe revolving bodies. There are contact and non-contact probes. According to the output signal, there are trigger probes for signaling, aiming probes and micrometer probes for scanning.
